Economic Impact Payments
IMPORTANT STIMULUS PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Federal Economic Impact Payments (also known as Stimulus Payments) began posting to taxpayers accounts set up for direct deposit, on Wednesday, April 15th. Paper checks are expected to be delivered in the weeks coming.
To help you prepare we recommend that you:
- Download the Malaga Mobile App. Use Malaga’s Mobile Banking to check your transactions and see when your stimulus payment is posted.
- Online Banking customers can set up Account Alerts-Transactions on your Checking or Savings to notify you by e-mail* when your stimulus payment has been deposited. Be sure to choose the account you expect the payment to be deposited into. Check the appropriate Activate box and use IRS for the Transaction Description Text.
- If you’re receiving a paper stimulus check, our Malaga Mobile App offers Mobile Deposit** providing you the convenience of depositing your check from home.
