Official Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPEN TO ALL LEGAL RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA, 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. A PURCHASE OF BANK PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

To Enter:  Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted by the same person will be disqualified.  Entries must be submitted in person to a Malaga Bank branch representative at any of our branch locations during the Sweepstakes Entry Period, February 14, 2025, through March 14, 2025. Entry forms will not be accepted after the end of the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

Eligibility: No purchase or account opening necessary to enter or win.  Open to all legal residents of California, 18 years of age or older.  Employees of Malaga Bank and Malaga Financial Corp., and their spouses, immediate families and persons living in their households are not eligible to enter. Non-Profit Organizations must be a qualified 501(c)(3) organization located in the Los Angeles South Bay area. National Organizations are eligible only if there is a local Los Angeles South Bay chapter. Each winner is subject to verification of requirements prior to awarding of the prize. Sweepstakes void where prohibited.

Odds: Actual odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.  A purchase of bank products or services will not increase the chances of winning. 

Prizes: Five (5) winners will each receive one (1) $500 Bank Check, and one (1) $500 Bank Check donation will go to the local non-profit organization of each winner’s choice. Each winner will receive a 1099 reporting the value of the prize and is responsible for any federal or state taxes.  Each winner is subject to verification of requirements prior to awarding of the prize. 

Drawing:  Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Malaga Bank on or about Friday, March 21, 2025. The winners will be notified by phone or email on or about Wednesday, March 26, 2025.  Prize checks will be presented to all winners at a date to be determined but no later than April 4, 2025.  They will be conducted under the auspices of Malaga Bank, the Sweepstakes sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on matters relating to this promotion.

Winners Names Release:  Individual, organizational, and local qualified non-profit winners’ names will be available once all parties have been officially notified.  Names and images will be used in media publications, including social media and our website.
