Important updates about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

To protect the health of our customers and employees, we have temporarily closed all branch locations on Saturdays.  Effective Monday, April 13th, our Torrance Skypark location will temporarily close until further notice.  Monday-Friday business hours will remain the same for our other locations.   

Our Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates, San Pedro and Torrance branches have available Night Drop boxes for Deposits and ATMs for a variety of transactions.

We know that the coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting each of us differently. As this situation continues to evolve, we're taking steps to help our customers and employees stay safe and healthy.  We love to see our customers but many transactions can be handled through Mobile Banking and our ATMs. Call us from the comfort and safety of your home for details.

What we are doing

We continue to clean our branches and ATMs extensively.  Each ATM receives a daily deep cleaning as a safety measure.

We’re following CDC guidance and asking customers who plan to come into our branches to please:

  • Maintain a minimum distance of at least 6 feet from others
  • Clean your hands often and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Stay home if you're sick and call us to complete your bank transaction

What you can do

  • Use Online and Mobile banking for Personal and Business. You can access your accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need additional assistance with your account, call us at 310-375-9000.
  • Protect yourself from scams. If we reach out to you, we will not ask for confidential information, such as your password, PIN or other confidential account information. See the Federal Trade Commission’s advice.
  • Guard against phishing. Don’t click on links in emails or texts unless you’re sure that it’s authentic.  Never provide your usernames, passwords and personal confidential information outside of the secure sites and apps you use.
  • Follow us on Facebook or visit our website to stay up to date on impacts to branch operations.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is an unprecedented event that continues to be a rapidly evolving situation.  Malaga Bank is taking all the necessary precautions and continues to follow elements of its predefined contingency plans which include provisions for pandemic outbreaks such as this one.  We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to follow guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as international, regional, state and local authorities.

There is no higher priority for our entire Malaga Bank family than the health and safety of our customers, employees and the surrounding communities. We have adopted protocols for general hygiene practices and remind those who don’t feel well to stay home.  We have also taken steps to enhance the cleaning of each of our locations.
